Hanover Hill is hiring for a Director of Customer Relations and Marketing.

We are seeking a motivated professional with excellent people skills to interact with clientele and direct the Customer Relations department.

Requirements:

  • Must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or related field
  • Must have 2 years of relevant experience in Customer Service/Public Relations. Healthcare experience preferred.
  • Possess a thorough knowledge of community relations, advertising and social media presence as they relate to long term care operations.
  • Able to plan, organize and present ideas/concepts to and with company committees, departments, and community groups/agencies.
  • Have excellent communication skills to be able to articulate effectively, both written and verbally
  • Possess the ability to establish, implement and maintain effective customer relationships.

Job Functions:

  • Assume the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability of planning, developing and implementing customer service related activities and programs.
  • Co-chair the facility's Customer Service Committee.
  • Assist department directors in the development and use of public relations policies and procedures.
  • Maintain updated public information describing services provided in the facility.
  • Support and promote the philosophy, goals, objectives and programs of the facility.
  • Create and distribute updated calendars for all customer service activities.
  • Organize, implement and update internal communication methods.
  • Produce weekly e-newsletters for internal and external customer groups.
  • Organize quarterly general staff meetings to include agenda of current topics, presentation of the Employee of the Month(s), and recognition of Caught in the Act program
  • Manage ongoing social media campaign (i.e. Facebook)
  • Contact the news media to promote new programs, promotions, etc. that are beneficial to the facility and community.
  • Participate in new staff orientation
  • Manage the distribution, collection and data compilation of annual employee satisfaction surveys and ongoing resident/family discharge surveys. Develop strategic plans in response to survey feedback.
  • Serve as support liaison to all departments to assist with daily customer operations as indicated, (Ex: customer/resident activities, dining room)
  • Maintain a public relations program that serves the best interest of the facility and community alike.

Pay: $68,000.00 - $73,000.00 per year
