Position Type: Part-Time

Hanover Nursing and Rehab is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our skilled nursing facility. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, visitors, and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping duties, including but not limited to:

  • Dusting, vacuuming, and disinfecting

  • Polishing surfaces

  • Emptying wastebaskets

  • Cleaning and replenishing supplies

  • Sweeping and mopping floors

• Follow established cleaning schedules and infection control procedures

• Use cleaning supplies and equipment safely and appropriately

• Maintain a neat, sanitary, and hazard-free environment throughout the facility

Qualifications

• Previous experience in housekeeping, cleaning, maintenance, or a related field preferred

• Familiarity with cleaning materials, chemicals, and equipment

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Reliable attendance and attention to detail
