Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Diagnoses problems with motor vehicles.
- Performs inspections in accordance with New Hampshire regulations.
- Performs engine tune-ups.
- Listens to customer's complaints to make correct diagnosis.
- Performs tests to determine problems with vehicles.
- Consults with shop foreman on diagnosis.
- Receives training as required to enhance job performance.
- Maintains a clean safe working environment.
- Follows all local, state and federal laws pertaining to service station operation.
- Keeps a log on all mishaps and rework so that problems can be identified and changes made for improved service.
Qualifications
Qualifications: At least 5 years in the automotive field
ASE Certification: At least four (4) of eight (8) Certification test passed.
