Electrical Control Engineer

Hanon Systems is looking for a motivated Electrical Control Engineer to join our Engineering team and help drive automation, reliability, and continuous improvement across our manufacturing operations. If you enjoy hands-on troubleshooting, working with advanced robotics and PLCs, and collaborating across teams, this role offers an exciting opportunity to make a real impact.
- Troubleshoot, test, and repair PLC and industrial control systems on manufacturing equipment
- Modify PLC programs and automation systems to improve quality, performance, and efficiency
- Monitor and maintain industrial robotics systems, jigs, and fixtures
- Train and support maintenance technicians in troubleshooting and system repairs
- Maintain shop floor electrical control systems
- Partner with Manufacturing Engineering on control requirements for new equipment and upgrades
- Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards
- 3 years of controls experience in a manufacturing environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferred)
- Experience with 3-phase systems, motor controls, and VFDs
- PLC programming and electrical troubleshooting experience
- Familiarity with Allen-Bradley PLCs
- Experience with Mitsubishi and/or Fanuc robots
- Proficiency in AutoCAD / AutoCAD Electrical and Microsoft Office
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
- Work with advanced automation and robotics technology
