What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tax Intern position at Hannis T Bourgeois LLP?
The Tax Intern will learn a variety of accounting and taxation skills under the supervision of different professionals. Interns will gain accounting knowledge, learn to meet deadlines and display professional conduct.
- Learns and assists tax professionals under direction of Seniors, Supervisors, Manager, Senior Managers, and Partners.
- Becomes familiar with the firm's policies and procedures including tax return preparation and procedures, including documentation and processing.
- Keeps current on technical issues and learns to apply them to client circumstances.
- Becomes proficient in the use of the various software programs used by the firm. Also becomes familiar with research tools used by the firm.
- Learns to prepare and process client tax returns.
