Psychotherapist (License-Eligible Clinical Social Worker )

Hannah Pocock & Associates is seeking a license-eligible clinical social worker with an interest in depth psychotherapy and integrative approaches to trauma treatment. This is a hybrid position, with options for both in-person sessions in one of our beautifully furnished offices, and work-from-home telehealth sessions. You will receive referrals and support to build a caseload tailored to your clinical interests and specialities, and both individual supervision and group case consultation for ongoing professional development.

Hannah Pocock & Associates is a group psychotherapy practice offering therapy for adults, young adults, and adolescents aged 16 . We embrace a holistic, integrative approach that honors the complex interactions between body and mind, person and environment, and past and present. To this end, we draw on experiential, somatic, psychodynamic, and relational modalities, among others, to support our clients’ self-discovery and growth. As a trauma-informed practice, we have a keen eye for the way that traumatogenic patterns–embodied, affective, cognitive–can keep clients feeling stuck, and we draw on approaches, such as Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, parts work, and EMDR, that go beyond “thinking about the problem” to help clients feel safe and grounded in the present, and explore new and more enlivened ways of being in the world.

Responsibilities:

• Provide individual psychotherapy to adults and adolescents
• Conduct intake assessments and develop treatment plans
• Complete documentation in a timely manner
• Opportunities for interested clinicians to provide group therapy, psychoeducational or supportive groups, and/or other services aligned with the practice’s vision and clinician interest and experience
• Make referrals and coordinate services with other providers and involved parties as needed

Qualifications:

• License-eligible clinical social worker with Master’s degree from an accredited institution
• Some experience providing psychotherapy to adults and/or adolescents
• Interest in learning, integrating and applying somatic, experiential, and attachment-informed approaches
• Self-directed and motivated to build and maintain a thriving caseload
• Eager to learn and open to engaging in self-reflection during consultation
