Duties
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Assist customers with shipping and receiving processes, providing accurate information regarding their orders.
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently using systems such as AS400 and Oracle Transportation Management.
- Coordinate dispatching activities to ensure timely delivery of freight.
- Analyze customer needs and provide appropriate solutions or escalate issues as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions in the database.
- Utilize GIS tools to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
- Uphold professional phone etiquette while communicating with customers and team members.
Requirements
- Previous experience in customer service or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes is a plus.
- Proficiency in data entry with attention to detail
- Knowledge of transportation management principles is beneficial.
- Strong analytical skills to assess situations and provide effective solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
