We are looking to hire a full-time production painter to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Operates a spray painter or other equipment to apply industrial paint finishes on metals or products.
- Monitors drying to ensure desired results.
- Prepares, washes, masks and spray paints finished products for shipments.
- Work from work orders, drawings or job specifications to determine customer paint specifications.
- Visually inspect parts received for obvious defects such as dents, rust or dirt, size variations or other visible defects or damage prior to painting.
- Verifies that the cylinder is labeled with appropriate serial number and identification.
- Maintains spray wash and paint equipment
- Mixes paint and manages paint inventory
- Maintain work area in neat and orderly manner, observes safety rules and company policies. Wears prescribed protective clothing, safety glasses and hearing protection.
- Assists shipping department
- Perform other duties as may be assigned or required. Will be cross trained on other jobs.
Skills & Qualifications:
Ability to read, write, and communicate in English. Comprehend instructions, work orders, product information, equipment settings, etc. Work from written or verbal instructions.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
