Responsibilities will include:

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and systems in compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to execute precise electrical work
• Use hand tools and power tools efficiently to complete installations and repairs on time
• Work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to automate industrial processes and improve system efficiency
• Conduct low voltage and high voltage electrical work safely on construction sites or renovation projects
• Diagnose electrical issues using tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters to identify faults accurately
• Identify hazards, defects or malfunctioning equipment and adjust, or repair to ensure compliance with all applicable codes.
• Conduct final inspections and functional tests of completed work to ensure systems operate as intended.
• Collaborate with other trades such as frame carpentry or handyman teams during renovation or construction projects
• Follow all safety protocols related to NEC standards and local regulations to ensure a secure work environment

Qualifications

• Proven experience with installation, repair and maintenance work for residential/commercial/multi residential projects.
• Hands-on experience with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical diagrams.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment.
• Knowledge of low voltage wiring systems as well as high voltage safety procedures
• Ability to complete work in accordance with national and state codes.
• Ability to lead and train apprentices effectively.
• Strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and commitment to safety.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• OSHA 10 preferred.
• Must have valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Licensed in Massachusetts a plus.

Pay: $40.00 - $48.00 per hour

• Journeyman Electrician: 3 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• Journeyman or Master Electrician license (Required)
• Driver's license (Required)
