Belmont After-school program is looking for an enthusiastic and adventurous Outdoor Adventure Teacher to lead exciting outdoor activities for children ages 5–12.
Schedule
- Weekends (Saturday or Sunday)
- 4-6 hours per day
- Part-Time
Responsibilities
- Lead outdoor adventures including hiking, nature walks, scavenger hunts, and team-building games.
- Teach outdoor skills, environmental awareness, and nature appreciation.
- Organize fun physical activities that build confidence, teamwork, and leadership.
- Ensure a safe, positive, and engaging experience for every child.
- Communicate with parents and staff regarding trip activities and safety.
Qualifications
- Experience working with children is preferred.
- Passion for outdoor education, recreation, and adventure.
- Energetic, patient, responsible, and dependable.
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.
- Reliable transportation is required.
- Must pass a background check.
- College students majoring in Education, Recreation, Environmental Science, Biology, Kinesiology, or related fields are welcome to apply!
Compensation
$40–$60 per hour, depending on experience.
Pay: $30.00 - $60.00 per hour
