Associate Social Security Disability Attorney
Hankey Marks & Crider is searching for a full-time associate to practice in our disability law department. This is an entry-level position, or with 1-4 years of experience. Specifically, we need an outstanding attorney to represent Social Security disability claimants from start to finish in the disability process. For over 5 decades our firm has grown significantly year after year, and we expect this trend to continue.
Applicants must have passed the Indiana Bar Exam and be in good standing. Prior experience in a law office, or prior experience in disability law specifically, is not required.
We are looking for an individual who is hard working, enjoys working with people, and is a team player. Our ideal candidate needs to possess superior follow-up skills and attention to detail, enjoy a fast-paced environment, be self-motivated, be comfortable engaging potential clients in person and over the phone, be dependable, and have leadership skills and traits.
Here's a more detailed description of what our new associates are responsible for:
• Meeting with prospective Social Security disability clients
• Following up with new and existing clients
• Reviewing work drafted by paralegals, law clerks, and team members
• Drafting legal documents
• Representing clients in disability hearings
General office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Benefits include:
