Administrative Intern - Part Time

We are seeking an Administrative Intern (part time) to support Midway Auto Group's Business Office. They will support our business lines: Midway Car Rental, Midway Leasing, and Midway Group. This position is a 90 day internship with a possibility to hire to full time. This position requires a bachelor's degree or current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program with an expected graduation date of Winter 2025 through Spring 2026. Accounting or Finance degree is a plus.

Compensation will be hourly plus monthly bonus.

Responsibilities

• Enter new vehicles in car rental software and vehicle purchase schedule
• Maintain and reconcile vehicle inventory schedule
• Scan/Upload documents
• Enter car information updates to rental software
• Process new titles in the title website and rental software
• Process registration of new vehicles and renewals
• Enter funding receipts, curtailments, payoffs and update/reconcile flooring schedule
• Maintain an accurate and organized record-keeping system of titles
• Prepare titles for FedEx shipment
• Release Liability with DMV
• Assist in any miscellaneous projects that are assigned
• Handle in a professional and confidential manner all correspondence, documentation, and files.
• Process Wholesale Report of Sales
• Process Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Required to help transport company vehicles from one location to another
  
  

Requirements

• Must be currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program with an expected graduation date of Winter 2025 through Spring 2026
• Type 50 WPM and 10 key by touch
• Knowledge of Excel and Outlook
• Detail oriented and well-organized
• Ability to work in an environment requiring multi-tasking abilities
• Available to work 20-24 hours per week
• Pass background; inclusive of Pre-Employment Drug Test, SSN Validation, and Criminal Record
• Clean driving record with no drug or alcohol related driving incidents in the last 3 years; No more than 1 serious moving violation in the last 3 years; No driving related suspensions or revocation of Driver License within a 3-5 year period. Will be subject to continuous Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) monitoring
• Minimum 3 years of licensed driving history
  
  

Pay

• Hourly rate of $19.00 - $20.00 plus monthly bonus
• The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire and will be dependent on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to geographic location, skill set, experience, and education when applicable.
