What are the responsibilities and job description for the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position at HANKER SYSTEMS PRIVATE LIMITED?
Contract- 13 weeks
Shift- Evenings 2:00PM to 10:30PM or Nights 10:00PM to 06:30AM
Job Responsibilities-
- Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with physician orders, care plans, and facility policies.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapeutic interventions safely and accurately.
- Monitor, assess, and document residents' physical and emotional conditions, reporting changes to the RN or physician.
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records and nursing documentation.
- Assist with admissions, discharges, transfers, and resident assessments.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure quality resident care.
- Respond promptly to resident needs, emergencies, and changes in condition.
- Supervise and support Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and other support staff as assigned.
- Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Promote resident comfort, dignity, and quality of life while maintaining a positive and professional environment.
Requirements-
- Minimum 2 years of Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) experience, preferably in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or long-term care setting.
- Current and active New York State LPN License required.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification required.
- Ability to work every other weekend as required.
- Must be available to work a minimum of 4 shifts per week (8-hour shifts).
- Strong clinical assessment, medication administration, and documentation skills.
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
- Previous travel nursing experience is a plus.
Pay: $32.00 - $36.00 per hour
