Role Description The Restaurant Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Gulf Shores, AL, responsible for overseeing daily restaurant operations and ensuring an exceptional guest experience. This role includes managing front-of-house and back-of-house teams, supervising opening and closing procedures, and maintaining high standards for food quality, service, cleanliness, and safety. The Restaurant Manager will handle staff scheduling, training, and performance feedback, while supporting hiring and onboarding efforts as needed. Day-to-day responsibilities also include monitoring customer satisfaction, resolving guest concerns, managing inventory and ordering, and assisting with sales, promotions, and special events to support revenue and brand goals.
Qualifications
- Strong customer-focused skills, including Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service, with a track record of creating positive guest experiences.
- Experience with Hiring and team leadership, including interviewing, training, coaching, and building high-performing restaurant teams.
- Effective Communication skills for interacting with guests, team members, and leadership, and for providing clear instructions and feedback.
- Knowledge of Food & Beverage operations, including menu execution, quality standards, safety, and compliance with health regulations.
- Previous experience in restaurant or hospitality management, preferably in a high-volume or destination-style environment.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by restaurant operations.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to stay calm and make decisions in a fast-paced setting.
- Proficiency with basic point-of-sale (POS) systems and familiarity with budgeting, cost control, and inventory management.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in hospitality, business, or a related field is a plus.
