Your Impact
- Mechanical Aptitude: Have a fundamental understanding of how an injection molding machine works and the ability to safely and effectively operate the machine
- Attention to Detail: Technician needs to meticulously monitor the process, inspect products for quality, and spot any anomalies
- Hand Tools: Basic proficiency with hand tools for de-flashing molded parts, minor repairs, and routine maintenance is essential
- Quality: Utilizes quality standards and practices to ensure good workmanship is achieved and identifies any defective items and handles them according to established quality procedures
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Ability to read and comprehend technical work instructions and safety protocols
- Must have a willingness to learn and be cross trained on the job
- Ability to use basic hand and power tools (e.g., screw drivers, pliers, cordless drills)
- Lifting and Carrying: The ability to lift up to 20 lbs. to move objects, including heavy molds or materials, is required
- Manual Dexterity and Hand-Eye Coordination: Important for tasks involving machine operation, part inspection, and tool usage
- Physical Stamina: Have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle repetitive movements
- A minimum of 1 year Injection molding and/or manufacturing experience
