We’re looking for an SEO Specialist to plan, execute, and optimize organic search strategies for a mix of small business and enterprise-level clients. You’ll work closely with account managers, content strategists, developers, and paid media teams to drive measurable growth through SEO.
This role requires someone who understands technical SEO, on-page optimization, content strategy, and performance analysis, and can adapt those skills across different industries, budgets, and levels of complexity.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Execution
- Develop and execute SEO strategies tailored to client goals, size, and market competitiveness
- Perform keyword research for local, national, and enterprise-scale websites
- Optimize on-page elements (titles, meta descriptions, headers, internal linking, schema)
- Support content strategy with SEO-driven briefs and optimization recommendations
- Identify and prioritize SEO opportunities based on impact and effort
Technical SEO
- Conduct technical SEO audits (crawlability, indexation, site structure, page speed, Core Web Vitals)
- Collaborate with developers to resolve technical issues and implement SEO best practices
- Manage migrations, redirects, and URL structure changes when needed
- Monitor and troubleshoot indexing and ranking issues
Analytics & Reporting
- Track performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and rank tracking platforms
- Analyze traffic, rankings, conversions, and engagement metrics
- Create clear, client-friendly reports that explain performance and next steps
- Communicate insights and recommendations to internal teams and clients
Collaboration & Client Support
- Work with account managers to align SEO strategy with broader marketing goals
- Support paid media, CRO, and content teams with SEO insights
- Participate in client calls when needed to explain strategy, results, and recommendations
- Adapt communication style for both small business owners and enterprise stakeholders
Required Skills & Experience
- 2 years of hands-on SEO experience (agency experience preferred)
- Strong understanding of on-page, technical, and content-driven SEO
- Experience working with both small business and larger, more complex websites
- Familiarity with tools such as:
- Google Analytics (GA4)
- Google Search Console
- Ahrefs, SEMrush, or similar
- Screaming Frog or other crawling tools
- Ability to prioritize tasks across multiple clients and deadlines
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Clear written and verbal communication
Nice-to-Have
- Understanding of local SEO and multi-location businesses
- Experience collaborating with developers and understanding basic HTML/CSS
- CRO or paid search knowledge
- Experience creating SEO processes or documentation
