Hangar 7 Aviation is seeking a Senior Logistics & Client Coordinator to support our flight scheduling, trip logistics, and client coordination functions. This role is ideal for an experienced aviation professional with a strong background in trip coordination, customer service, and operational support. The Senior Logistics & Client Coordinator will assist with day-to-day trip execution and serve as a key point of contact for clients and internal departments.
This is an in-office position. Candidates must be based in the Henderson/Las Vegas area.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Coordinate trip quoting, sourcing, planning, and flight following while utilizing aircraft schedules to ensure accurate trip execution and compliance with crew duty and rest requirements.
- Maintain awareness of active trips and assist with flight monitoring to ensure timely communication of operational updates.
- Monitor daily schedules and communicate delays, changes, or operational updates as needed
- Coordinate with flight crews, maintenance, scheduling, Part 119 personnel, and internal departments to support daily operations and scheduling needs.
- Work closely with Logistics & Client Coordinators and team members to support efficient and accurate trip planning and execution.
- Serve as a point of contact for client inquiries and service needs.
- Answer phones and emails and manage a high volume of communication in an organized and efficient manner.
- Assist with resolving client service issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Responsible for proactively building relationships with new customers and address customer inquiries/concerns promptly in a professional manner.
- Maintain a current database of all client and flight crew contact information.
- Provide administrative and operational support as needed, including calendar coordination, internal communications, and workflow tracking.
- Follow established department procedures and assist with maintaining accurate operational documentation and internal processes to support efficient trip planning and client service.
- Keep up to date with market trends and new business practices.
- Serve as an operational resource for the Flight Support team, providing guidance on complex or time-sensitive trip logistics, procedures, and operational scenarios.
- Serve as a resource for team members regarding operational procedures and company SOPs.
- Review trip plans to support accuracy in trip quoting, details, vendor coordination, and communication.
- Assist with onboarding and operational training of new Flight Logistics Coordinators, including trip planning procedures, vendor coordination, and internal systems.
- Participate in operational and management meetings to provide input on trip logistics, workflow, and coordination needs.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to support after-hours operational needs, including nights and extended schedules as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management or as necessary for business.
Knowledge & Skills
- 3-5 years of experience in aviation logistics, scheduling, or trip coordination required.
- Working knowledge of aircraft operations and FAA Part 135 regulations strongly preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-service mindset.
- Basic proficiency in Mac OS and Google Workspace (Drive, Docs, Sheets); ability to learn scheduling and aviation software systems.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in high-pressure environments.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, especially under time-sensitive conditions.
- Professional demeanor with the ability to work directly with high-net-worth clients.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
