Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our team. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations. This is a vital role in our organization, ensuring timely and safe delivery of products.
Duties:
- Operate heavy equipment, including tractor-trailers.
- Load and unload bulk materials from the trailer
- Safely drive and maneuver the truck to the designated destination
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while on the road
- Inspect the truck before and after each trip to ensure it is in good working condition
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents that occur during transportation
- Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and other team members to coordinate delivery schedules
Requirements:
- Valid CDL A driver's license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a Truck Driver or similar role
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols
- Ability to lift heavy objects and load/unload goods as required
