Dino Mart is a locally owned gas station and convenience store in Longview, well known in the community for our fish and chips, fresh deli, and friendly service. We're a small, close-knit team that values respect, reliability, and a positive work environment.
Position Overview
We're looking for a friendly, motivated Cashier / Store Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, takes pride in their work, and wants a stable, supportive place to grow. Cooking experience is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service and process cash and card transactions accurately
- Answer phone calls professionally and take call-in orders
- Prepare and cook fish and chips and other menu items to order
- Prep and cook fresh items for the deli case
- Maintain a clean, welcoming store, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and restroom cleaning
- Restock shelves and coolers, and bag ice
- Assist with other store duties as needed
Qualifications
- Positive attitude and strong customer service skills
- Cooking or food service experience preferred (fryer or seafood experience a plus)
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Professional phone etiquette
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Experience with cash handling preferred
- Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
- Must be 21 or older
- Washington Food Worker Card, or willingness to obtain one within 14 days of hire
