Responsibilities
- Assist with framing, trim carpentry, door hanging, cabinet installation, siding, and roofing tasks to ensure precise and durable results.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently on various construction sites.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute project specifications.
- Perform concrete forming, masonry work, rebar installation, and plastering to support foundational and structural elements.
- Conduct restoration activities including water damage remediation, mold remediation, and general building repairs.
- Support installation of fixtures such as lighting, cabinetry, doors, windows, and other finishing components.
- Assist with heavy lifting and material handling to ensure smooth workflow and safety compliance.
- Follow safety protocols consistently while working on construction sites or in manufacturing environments.
- Collaborate with team members to complete remodeling projects efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Maintain a clean work area by organizing tools and materials and adhering to site safety regulations at all times.
Skills
- Proven experience with construction estimating, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and project planning.
- Skilled in trim carpentry, frame carpentry, metal stud framing, drywall installation (including stucco), and fixture mounting.
- Proficient with hand tools (hammers, saws, chisels), power tools (drills, saws), CNC machinery, and fabrication equipment.
- Knowledge of roofing techniques including shingle application and waterproofing methods.
- Experience in water damage restoration, mold remediation, plumbing systems installation or repair, electrical work basics, masonry techniques, flooring installation (tile or wood), and tile laying.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining physical endurance for long shifts on-site.
- Familiarity with construction schematics and technical drawings for accurate execution of tasks.
- Strong understanding of safety standards related to construction sites or manufacturing environments.
- Excellent teamwork skills combined with the ability to work independently when needed.
- Previous experience in the restoration industry or maintenance person services is highly desirable.
