Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to support multiple property management companies by performing essential maintenance tasks. This role involves hands-on work primarily focused on plumbing and electrical systems, ensuring the proper functioning and safety of residential or commercial properties. The position offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, from 8 AM to 5 PM, with no on-call responsibilities or HVAC duties required.
Duties
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs related to plumbing and electrical systems across various properties.
- Respond to maintenance requests promptly and efficiently to minimize downtime and inconvenience for tenants or occupants.
- Perform inspections to identify potential issues and perform preventative maintenance as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and inspections completed.
- Collaborate with property management teams to coordinate repairs and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Assist in troubleshooting electrical and plumbing problems, utilizing appropriate tools and techniques.
- Ensure all work is completed safely, adhering to relevant codes and regulations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in maintenance work, specifically with plumbing and electrical systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose issues efficiently.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail.
