Following our success in Australia, we're expanding into the United States and are looking for a highly experienced Mobile Frontend Developer (iOS Swift) to join our engineering team in Dallas, Texas.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining native iOS applications that deliver secure, intuitive, and engaging customer experiences. Working closely with architects, backend developers, and business stakeholders, you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of our mobile technology platform and customer engagement strategy.
What You'll Do
You will be responsible for developing and enhancing our native iOS applications while ensuring security, performance, scalability, and exceptional user experiences. Working collaboratively across technology and business teams, you will:
- Develop, maintain, and enhance native iOS applications using Swift
- Design and implement customer-facing mobile features, including Wallet functionality
- Create reusable, scalable, and maintainable application components
- Integrate mobile applications with backend services and REST APIs
- Develop secure authentication features, including multi-factor authentication and biometric login capabilities
- Implement mobile application resilience features such as caching, offline functionality, and error handling
- Ensure secure storage and management of customer information using industry best practices
- Develop and maintain automated testing, including unit and UI testing frameworks
- Support CI/CD deployment processes, application releases, and ongoing maintenance activities
- Collaborate with architects, developers, designers, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality mobile solutions
- Implement and maintain push notifications, analytics, monitoring, and performance tracking capabilities
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on mobile development practices, performance, and security
What You'll Bring
- Strong experience developing native iOS applications using Swift
- Experience working with UIKit and SwiftUI frameworks
- Knowledge of MVVM architecture and modern mobile development practices
- Experience integrating REST APIs and backend services
- Experience using Git version control, CI/CD pipelines, and mobile application deployment processes
- Experience implementing push notifications and customer engagement features
- Strong understanding of mobile security principles, authentication frameworks, biometric authentication, and secure data storage
- Experience using analytics, monitoring, and crash reporting tools to support application performance and stability
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, agile environment
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline (desirable)
- Experience within fintech, banking, or other regulated industries will be highly regarded
