Position Overview:
Handy Bird is expanding, and we’re looking for a Regional Facilities Maintenance Technician to support commercial service accounts across Pennsylvania and surrounding states. This role is ideal for someone who can work independently, travel confidently, and help us grow our regional footprint as new accounts come online.
What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)
- Drywall patching, finishing, and painting touch-ups
- Light electrical & plumbing (fixture swaps, basic repairs, troubleshooting)
- Basic concrete repairs (patching, small section replacement, leveling/skim where needed)
- Minor carpentry: trim, doors, hardware, caulking, general facility fixes
- Complete assigned work orders with photos/notes and communicate results
- Maintain a professional presence and represent Handy Bird on-site
What You Need to Bring (Qualifications)
- Facilities or building maintenance experience (commercial preferred)
- Willingness to travel regionally (multi-day trips as needed) Possible overnight- as required.
- Ability to work solo and problem-solve in unfamiliar environments
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle (company mileage or travel comp available)
- Comfortable handling light electrical, plumbing, drywall, and basic concrete work
- Strong communication with the office, clients, and property contacts
