- Process and verify incoming vendor invoices using various accounting and ERP systems.
- Submit invoices for payment on time and accurately to take advantage of vendor discounts.
- Process and prepare accounts payable check runs twice weekly or as directed by your supervisor.
- Review monthly vendor statements to ensure timely and accurate payments.
- Answer phones as needed
- Perform data entry with high accuracy, including coding invoices and entering payment details into our ERP system.
- Maintain organized records of all accounts payable documents, including invoices, receipts, and payment confirmations, adhering to internal controls in place.
- Report daily and weekly progress to your direct supervisor.
- Proven experience with accounting software, including MS Excel.
- Excellent data entry skills with a focus on accuracy; proficiency in 10-key typing is preferred.
- Knowledge of accounts payable processes.
- Prior experience is desirable but not required.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
