Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant based in Queens, NY. The Physical Therapy Assistant will work closely with licensed physical therapists to follow treatment plans, assist patients during rehabilitation exercises, provide home care instructions, and ensure patient well-being. The role requires tracking and documenting patients' progress and ensuring compliance with all healthcare guidelines and regulations.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation techniques, with the ability to assist in therapy delivery.
- Experience in Patient Care, including providing support during therapy sessions and ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Familiarity with Home Care practices and the ability to provide education and resources for at-home treatment continuity.
- Proficiency in applying medical principles related to physical therapy in a clinical setting.
- Valid Physical Therapy Assistant license for the state of New York.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with patients and a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with medical protocols and privacy standards.
- Prior experience in a rehabilitation or therapy setting is a MUST.
- English and Hindi speaking is a MUST.
