Personal Care Aide - CNA - STNA - PRN
We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated caregiver to provide essential assistance and support to individuals requiring homecare services. As a caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting with daily activities, promoting independence, and ensuring their safety and well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care to clients, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper techniques and equipment as required.
- Administer medication according to prescribed schedules and document accurately.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals and assist with feeding, if necessary.
- Perform light housekeeping duties, such as cleaning, laundry, and tidying up.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and other outings as needed.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities and provide companionship.
- Monitor and report any changes in clients' physical or mental condition to the appropriate supervisor.
- Maintain professional and courteous communication with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (additional training or certification in caregiving is a plus).
- Proven experience as a caregiver, preferably in a homecare setting. At least 2 years of experience (Preferred) We will train!
- Knowledge of basic first aid and CPR.
- Ability to follow care plans and adapt to clients' individual needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (is required for the role).
Working Hours and Compensation:
- The working hours may vary depending on the needs of the clients, including daytime, evenings, weekends, and overnight shifts.
- Compensation will be discussed during the interview process and will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
