What are the responsibilities and job description for the Van Driver position at Hands of Heartland?
Hands of Heartland is looking for compassionate and caring individuals to join our team and provide support to the individuals we support as a Van Driver.
What You’ll Do: Transport individuals with developmental disabilities to and from day site locations. Assist with loading and unloading of individuals. Ensure safe driving practices are followed at all times.
Hours: Part-time, Day hours, Monday-Friday only.
Skillset Needed for the Job: Ability to work independently in a fast paced, team-oriented environment. Flexible and willing to adapt to change. Know the value of communication. Desire to support people and encourage them to reach goals. Understand the importance of documentation. Comfortable driving large van through the Bellevue and Omaha areas.

Requirements: Must be 18 years old. Must have a valid driver’s license. Experience not required – we will train you!
Pay: Starting pay is $16.50 hour. We pay more for experience and if you have a CNA license. Incentives also available.
