Hands of Healing Provider Services is seeking a compassionate and dependable Personal Caregiver to join our team in Dallas. This role is designed for someone who excels at assisting seniors or individuals with disabilities with their daily routines, ensuring they remain safe, comfortable, and cared for in their own homes.
Core Responsibilities
Your primary focus will be assisting the client with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and maintaining a supportive home environment. Key duties include:
- Personal Care: Providing "hands-on" assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Medication Reminders: Ensuring the client takes the correct dosages at the prescribed times.
- Meal Preparation: Planning and cooking nutritious meals based on the client’s dietary needs.
- Light Housekeeping: Keeping the home environment clean by performing laundry, dishes, and general tidying.
- Health Monitoring: Observing and reporting any changes in physical or mental health to the family or supervisors.
Requirements
- Language: Must be Bilingual (English/Spanish).
- Dependability: A strong commitment to the scheduled shift times and a reliable work ethic.
- Transportation: Must have reliable transportation to and from the client’s home in Fort Worth.
- Soft Skills: A patient, empathetic personality with a focus on providing high-quality companionship and support.
Schedule Detail
This is a consistent, part-time day shift totaling 18.5 hours per week:
- Mondays: 9:00 AM –1:30PM
- Tuesdays-Fridays: 9:00 AM – 12:30 PM

- Errands: Picking up prescriptions or handling general household shopping.
Emotional & Health Support
- Companionship: Engaging in conversation, playing games, or accompanying the client on walks to reduce isolation.
