CNC Machinist

Handling Systems and Conveyors is looking for a Machinist to join our Machine shop. In this position, you will be operating a CNC mill or a CNC Lathe.

A machinist is responsible for operating machines to produce precision metal parts. You will produce small batches or large quantities of metal parts and ensure the products meet the required specifications.

Candidate needs a variety of skills and industry knowledge to ensure products are up to the manufacturing drawing standards, including:

• Experience in a CNC machining and manufacturing environment.
• Ability to use measuring devices like gauges, calipers, micrometers.
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Necessary math skills to calibrate and measure specifications.
• Up-to-date knowledge of federal and industry standards and best practices
• Blueprint reading capabilities.
• Documentation and reporting skills
• Teamwork and collaboration
• Comfortable standing or walking for long periods of time.
• Must be able to lift up to 40lbs.
• Must have their own set of tools
• Day shift Monday-Friday 6:00am to 2:30pm
