What are the responsibilities and job description for the Van Driver position at Handled With Care Childcare?
The Childcare Van Driver is responsible for safely transporting children, before school and after school, for field-trips, and to Handled With Care Academy. The driver must operate the childcare vehicle safely, follow all transportation schedules and procedures, properly supervise children, and maintain professional communication with families, school personnel, and childcare staff.
The driver is responsible for ensuring that every child is properly secured in an age-appropriate car seat, booster seat, or seat belt before the vehicle moves. The driver must complete all required attendance checks and vehicle inspections to ensure that no child is ever left unattended in the vehicle.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
