Job Summary: As an NEMT Driver, you will be responsible for providing safe, timely, and professional transportation for clients, including seniors and individuals with disabilities. You’ll ensure each passenger has a comfortable experience while maintaining the highest standards of safety and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely transport clients to and from medical appointments, facilities, and other approved destinations.
- Assist clients with entering and exiting the vehicle when needed, ensuring dignity and safety.
- Operate company vehicles in compliance with traffic laws and company policies.
- Perform vehicle inspections to ensure safety and cleanliness.
- Maintain accurate trip logs, mileage, and client documentation as required.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, clients, and caregivers.
- Provide courteous, professional, and compassionate service at all times
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Valid Wisconsin driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass background check, drug screening, and motor vehicle report.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to assist clients with mobility limitations (training provided)
- Comfortable sitting, driving, and assisting passengers for extended periods.
Pay: From $14.00 per hour
