We are seeking a N3 Wastewater Licensed Operator In Charge to be part of our project team. This position will support our cient's superfund site in Jackson NJ.

What will be my responsibilities and objectives:

· As the N3 Licensed Industrial Wastewater Operator in Charge, you will be responsible for the overall operation and performance of remediation systems at a superfund job site.

· You will be on day shift to operate, inspect, adjust, and monitor/maintain process equipment, meters, gauges, and controls to detect problems and to maintain proper levels of operation and systems performance.

· Reporting to the Project Manager, you will supervise and lead team engagements for field techs. Incudes: training, coaching and feedback to team and management.

· As the point of contact, will communicates daily with clients, regulatory personnel, management, colleagues and field techs.

· Oversee and/or perform process control testing and field testing of water. Record and adjust pH levels, process chemicals, including flocculants and coagulants, using mixers, pumps, and metering devices.

· Ensure the wastewater treatment system is operating within compliance, follow all Company Standard Operating Procedures and apply, and adhere to all safety procedures as required.

· Ensure job sites are neat, clean and free of debris.

· Other duties as assigned.

Salary Range:

$40.00 to $50.00 an hour.

Requirements

· High school diploma/GED and a NJ Industrial Wastewater Operator’s License N3 required.

· College degree or vocational training a plus.

· 10 years of Wastewater Operator experience and mechanically inclined required.

· 40 Hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification and TWIC a plus.

· Required to walk and stand for extended periods of time, work sometimes in severe weather conditions and varying locations that may or may not require Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

· Ability to work overtime when required.

· Team player with good work ethic and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

· Valid driver license in good standing required.

· Ability to pass background checks (criminal/drug/alcohol) required.

· Must be able to start working early spring of 2026.

Salary : $40 - $50
