Duties
- Carefully pack products according to specified guidelines, ensuring protection during transit and presentation standards are met
- Label packages accurately with shipping information, tracking numbers, and handling instructions
- Inspect items for damage or defects before packing to uphold quality standards
- Organize packed shipments in designated areas for easy retrieval and dispatch
- Collaborate with warehouse team members to coordinate inbound and outbound shipments
- Operate packaging equipment and tools safely and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of packing stations to promote safety and productivity
- Complete shipping documentation accurately, including manifests, bills of lading, and shipment logs
Requirements
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, and move packages regularly throughout the shift
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in packing and labeling
- Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Basic reading, writing, and math skills for documentation purposes
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude
- Prior experience in packing, shipping, or warehouse operations is a plus but not required
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to handling packaging materials and equipment
