Overview
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Licensed Massage Therapist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will deliver high-quality massage therapy services designed to promote relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being. Your expertise will help clients feel their best while contributing to a welcoming and professional spa environment.
Duties
- Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other modalities tailored to client needs
- Conduct patient assessments to understand individual concerns and develop personalized treatment plans
- Apply knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to ensure safe and effective treatments
- Provide exceptional patient service by creating a relaxing atmosphere and addressing client questions or concerns
- Assist with patient education on pain management strategies and occupational health practices
- Maintain accurate records of treatments provided and monitor client progress over time
- Uphold all sanitation, safety, and compliance standards in accordance with licensing requirements
Experience
- Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active licensing credentials
- Proven experience in delivering deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other advanced techniques
- Familiarity with patient assessment procedures and pain management strategies
- Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy
- Prior experience working in a med spa or similar healthcare setting is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients
- Occupational health experience is a plus for understanding workplace wellness needs
