Parttime Hospice Oncall RN
2 weeks and 2 weekends per Month
$200 per day Monday - Friday 4:30pm to 8:00 am plus $0.50/mile
$250 per day Saturday and Sunday 24 hours each plus $0.50/mile
Job Summary
As a Hospice Nurse, you will provide compassionate end-of-life care to patients in hospice settings. You will work closely with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure comfort and dignity during the final stages of life. Must have Hospice experience
Duties
- Administer medications and treatments to alleviate symptoms and manage pain
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, collaborating with physicians to adjust care plans
- Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and their families
- Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient well-being
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
Skills
- Proficiency in medical-surgical nursing techniques
- Knowledge of specimen collection processing and laboratory procedures
- Familiarity with inhale techniques for patient comfort
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction
- Previous experience in med surge, ICU, Home Health, and Hospice a plus
