Hand in Hand Hospice is seeking a compassionate and dependable Part-Time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our hospice care team. The CNA will provide personal care and support to patients in their homes or care facilities while working closely with the hospice interdisciplinary team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
- Assist patients with mobility and transfers
- Observe and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and families
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care
- Follow the plan of care established by the hospice nurse
Requirements:
- Current Louisiana Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- Valid Louisiana driver’s license
- Reliable transportation with current registration and insurance
- Ability to travel to patient homes and facilities
- Compassionate, dependable, and able to work independently
