Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of engaging curriculum plans aligned with early childhood education standards and best practices.
- Supervise and support teaching staff through ongoing professional development facilitation, performance evaluations, and mentorship to ensure instructional excellence.
- Oversee daily center operations, including enrollment management, staff scheduling, and maintaining compliance with all licensing and regulatory requirements related to childhood education.
- Manage budgets effectively by overseeing financial planning, resource allocation, and fundraising initiatives to support program sustainability and growth.
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment that promotes social-emotional development, safety, and well-being for all children.
- Build strong relationships with families through transparent communication, parent engagement activities, and addressing individual needs with sensitivity.
- Ensure adherence to legal requirements such as special education law, childhood development standards, and school legal knowledge to maintain high-quality educational services.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in early childhood education with supervisory experience OR a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education.
- Proven experience in school administrative leadership or as a school or childcare center director with demonstrated success in managing teams and operations is a plus.
- Extensive knowledge of early childhood education principles, curriculum development, and classroom management techniques.
- Familiarity with educational compliance regulations, including childhood development standards is a plus.
- Exceptional leadership skills with experience supervising staff, facilitating professional development, and evaluating faculty performance.
- Excellent communication skills suitable for public speaking engagements with staff, families, and community stakeholders.
