Early Intervention Special Instructor ABA
Location: Throughout 5 Boroughs
Salary Range: Fee for Service
$60 for 30 min session, $80 for 60 min session without DOH Letter as a W2
$65 for 30 min session, $85 for 60 min session with DOH Letter as a 1099
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
We have new opportunities for Early Childhood Special Educators with ABA Certification to provide home based services in all five boroughs.
- Provide behavior intervention within the home, school, or community setting.
- Collaborate with families and multidisciplinary team to create programs and work towards goals listed in the childs IFSP.
- Collaborate with the BCBA supervisor.
- Collect and graph data consistent with best practice in ABA.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- Masters Degree in Special Education, Social Work, or related field
- NYS Licensure as Special Educator or LMSW
- Teaching Certifications: Students with Disabilities Birth 2nd grade-Required
- Initial, Professional or Permanent Special Education Certificate
- BCBA certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board-Required
- Designation as a Licensed Behavior Analyst in the state of New York-Required
- CPR Certification (Preferred)
- Experience with Discrete Trial Training (DTT); Natural Environment Training (NET); Functional Behavior Analysis (FBA); and the ABLLS-R and VB-MAPP Assessments
- Development of behavior plans and skill acquisition plans
- Experience working with parents
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Minimum of 1 year working with people with autism and related developmental disabilities
- Bilingual a plus

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to travel to numerous locations to meet with clients, attend meetings and visit healthcare facilities.
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 35 lbs.
- Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly.
