Early Intervention Speech Language PathologistLocation: Throughout 5 BoroughsSalary Range: Fee for Service$65 for 30 min session, $85 for 60 min session without DOH Letter as a W2$70 for 30 min session, $90 for 60 min session with DOH Letter as a 1099Essential Duties and Responsibilities:The role of a NYS Licensed Speech Language Pathologists to provide therapeutic services in home settings. Our In-Home Services are provided throughout the 5 boroughs of NYC. We utilize a team centered approach fostering collaboration across all disciplines.Work 1:1 with children diagnosed with developmental delaysCollaborate with families to create programs and work towards goals listed in the child’s IFSPMonitor & assess program effectivenessDocument & communicate treatment results & individuals progress to relevant partiesWork effectively with our team of multi-disciplinary service providersEducation and/or Work Experience Requirements:Master's in Speech Language Pathology (Required)NYS Speech Language Pathologist License (Required)CPR Certification (Preferred)Previous experience with children who have disabilities and familiesAbility to build rapport with children & familiesPassion to help & motivate othersExcellent written & verbal communication skillsBilingual a plusEqual Opportunity EmployerPhysical Requirements:Ability to travel to numerous locations to meet with clients, attend meetings and visit healthcare facilities.Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.Must be able to lift and carry up to 35 lbs.Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the position.Hand In Hand Development, Inc., CMA is a NYS DOH approved Early Intervention Agency that provides evaluations, service coordination, and therapeutic services for children birth to 3 in all 5 boroughs, upstate and Long Island. Hand In Hand is also an approved Care Management Agency (CMA) under the lead health home of the Collaborative for Children and Families (CCF), and provides comprehensive care management, health promotion, transitional care, and family support for children and young adults from birth to age 21. Hand In Hand Development is the largest CMA in New York and is recognized as a leader and innovator in the provision of care management services.
