Hancock Central High & Middle School is seeking a temporary full-time Secondary Social Studies teacher to instruct students in grades 6-12. This position offers the opportunity to engage students in meaningful learning experiences that build critical thinking, civic responsibility, and historical understanding.
Desired Qualifications:
- Michigan teaching certification in Social Studies (RX) for grades 6–12
- Strong content knowledge in history, civics, geography, and related social science disciplines
- Commitment to student engagement, inquiry-based learning, and academic growth
- Special consideration will be given to applicants with multiple certifications, including English, mathematics, science, physical education, building trades, and/or technology
Position Details:
- This is a temporary full-time position for the remainder of the 2025–2026 school year, with potential for extension or conversion to a permanent position.
