What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part Time Delivery Driver for Busy Pharmacy position at Hancock Pharmacy and Surgical?
Hancock Pharmacy is looking for hard working, self-motivated, energetic individuals to work in our fast paced pharmacy as Delivery Drivers. We are currently seeking people that would enjoy working for an organization that is truly making a difference in the lives of others and considers their employees their most valuable assets. Drivers will provide accurate and timely delivery of prescriptions and/or supplies to clients within the location’s geographical delivery area. Ability and willingness to work in all weather conditions is a must. Drivers will maintain the highest professional standards and also ensure patient confidentiality. Hours Needed: Sun-3:00pm-9:00pm/10:00pm, Fri and Wed-6:00pm-11:00pm/12:00pm
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
Qualifications:
Required:
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Applicant must be at least 25 yrs. old per insurance requirements
Preferred:
- Valid driver’s license
- Excellent driving record
- Good physical condition
- Good communication skills
- Good organizational skills
- Responsible and cooperative attitude
- Clean and neat personal appearance
Core Competencies and Responsibilities:
- Load vehicle for delivery
- Observe all traffic laws and posted speed limits
- Keep vehicle clean and maintained
- Deliver prescriptions to clients
- Interact with customers in a polite and courteous manner
- Collect required signatures for payment, proof of delivery, and providing receipts to customers
- Return all required documentation to the pharmacy
- Unload vehicle after completing delivery runs
- Understand and adhere to HIPAA compliance policies
- Complete other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements and Work Demands:
- Must be able to sit and drive for entire shift
