- Greet patients in a friendly and professional manner.
- Exhibit excellent communication skills.
- Accurately obtain complete medical history, medications, and vital signs on all patients.
- Ensure exam rooms are clean and appropriately stocked
- Perform phlebotomy for genetic testing as needed.
- Able to chart appropriately, relay instructions to patients/families, and answer patient calls and portal messages in a timely manner.
- Able to obtain scans and surgical authorizations through insurance.
- Perform front office tasks which include checking patients in and scheduling future appointments.
- Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner.
- Must be able to respect the need for confidentiality.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Be a supportive team player
- Avoid phrases like "that's not my job"
- Dispose of all biohazardous waste in appropriate manner.
- Assists with supply inventory management.

- Technical/other training or better

- Medical Terminology
- CPR
- BLS Certification
