What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cancer Center Medical Assistant position at Hancock Health?
Greets patients. Assists the provider with patient care activities such as obtaining histories, preparation for examination and conducting point of care testing. Ensures examination rooms are clean and appropriately stocked. Performs phlebotomy and packages specimens appropriately, runs CBC machine and POC tests skillfully and accurately with all paperwork and QA done correctly. Perform other tasks as assigned.
