The Hancock County Workshop is looking for a Laundry Lead, where you will ensure the quality, and timely delivery of laundry services. Duties
- Daily laundry operations, including sorting, washing, drying, folding, linen
- Ensure all laundry is processed efficiently and meets quality standards before delivery.
- Coordinate with supervisors and staff to assign tasks, to promote a collaborative work environment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area to ensure safety and operational efficiency.
- Properly use equipment such as washer, dryers and other equipment.
Requirements
- Ability to effectively maintain attention to detail and quality control
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills to coordinate with supervisor and other departments
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift 50 pounds when necessary
