What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resources Generalist position at Hancock County Health System?
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Human Resources Generalist will assist in managing administration of Human Resources policies, procedures, and programs. Along with other duties, is responsible for the administration, communication and compliance of employee benefit programs. Will provide administrative support to the Human Resources Director and administrative team. Displays a positive and professional attitude to all customers. Exercises personal judgment and discretion in performing duties. Will perform other duties as assigned.
HOURS:
Full-time, 72 hours a pay period, Monday-Friday.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have an Associate Degree in business or related field. One year experience in human resources or in a human resources related field preferred. Work experience in a responsible position preferred. Experience in a health care setting preferred. Must have general knowledge of computer capabilities and be proficient in computer applications including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Must be able to perform well under pressure and to cope with a variety of responsibilities and projects, often simultaneously. Must possess strong problem-solving skills. Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work independently.
