What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNA/ED Receptionist Full-time Days position at Hancock County Health System?
RESPONSIBILITIES: Will be responsible for providing patient cares, assists in meeting the psychosocial needs of patients and general cleaning of units and equipment under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse on the medical/surgical floor. Will also perform ED receptionist duties to include registration and switchboard duties.
HOURS: Full-time. 72 hours per pay period, 6:15 a.m.- 6:45 p.m. Includes every 3rd weekend and holiday.
QUALIFICATIONS: C.N.A. or LPN. Prefer high school graduate or equivalent. Completion of a certified nurse aide course or willing to complete C.N.A. course within four months from date of hire is required. Will work under direct supervision of C.N.A. and nursing staff until successful completion of the course. Experience preferred. Excellent computer skills are required.
PRIMARY PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to stand for extended periods of time. Must be able to handle frequent interruptions. Must be able to frequently lift over 60 pounds. Must be able to have good visual and auditory skills.
