What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinic Scheduling/Registration position at Hancock County Health System?
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for greeting patients, obtaining required information to include insurance and identification, answering phones and transferring calls appropriately, competent in registering and scheduling patients in electronic health record, collection of payments and preparing any additional items as requested for patient appointments.
HOURS: Full-time, 80 hours a pay period, 7:00am-3:30pm Monday–Friday. Primary location will be the Britt Medical Clinic but must be willing to travel to other locations if needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school graduate or equivalent. Previous experience in a clinical office setting and medical terminology preferred. Must have excellent customer service skills, computer skills, ability to organize, prioritize, multi-task, telephone etiquette, and ability to work well with others as a team.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to read and sit continuously. Must have good visual and auditory abilities. Must be able to handle frequent interruptions.
