What are the responsibilities and job description for the Environmental Health Sanitarian position at Hancock County Health Department?
The Hancock County Health Department is seeking a full-time environmental sanitarian. This individual will be involved in a wide variety of programs and services at the health department which include but are not limited to, food sanitation, potable water, sewage disposal, vector control, solid waste, toxic, and hazardous substances, indoor air, facility sanitation, tobacco enforcement, and nuisances. The individual will also provide health education programs that will promote, maintain, and improve individual and community health. Some evening and weekend work may be required.
