What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pizza Maker/Cook position at Hancock County Cooperative Oil Association?
HCCO is now hiring pizza bakers, who will be a part of Norther Lights Dash team at our Garner Townmart location! You will prep and cook awesome pizzas, must be able to follow instructions in cooking and delivering well-prepared meals, with timely and courteous service. The team member will provide outstanding customer service through professional interaction in person and on the phone. Apply here or in store at 260 W Highway 18, Garner, IA Part time 2-3 evenings a week and every other weekend.
Essential Duties:
- Deliver outstanding customer service
- Taking accurate orders
- Answering customers’ questions
- Preparing pizza crusts
- Slicing, chopping and preparing toppings like vegetable and meats
- Executing customers’ orders considering special requests.
- Time management with multiple tickets
- Stocking and cleanliness of pizza area and surrounding area
- Proper upkeep of regulations with health departments standards and policies
- Participates in training, follows safety procedures, job duties, and company policies
- Promote the HCCO image and brand
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and requirements:
- 1 6 years of age or older
- Must enjoy and excel in a team environment
- Must have an upbeat and positive outlook
- Must be dedicated and reliable
- Good communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions and help with various tasks, as needed
- Availability to work in shifts, during weekends and evenings
- Possession of a valid driver’s license
- Capable of becoming food safety certified.
