As our operation continues to expand, we are seeking a skilled Aircraft Maintenance Technician to join our professional, team-oriented maintenance department.
Job Description
The Aircraft Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing high-quality routine and non-routine maintenance on a variety of aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations and company standards. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a structured, safety-focused environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance and inspections
- Inspect aircraft systems and components to identify wear, defects, or discrepancies
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and structural issues
- Complete maintenance tasks in compliance with FAA regulations and approved data
- Accurately document all maintenance and repair work in aircraft records
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and inspectors
- Support shop workflow and assist with additional tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License (Required)
- Experience performing aircraft maintenance and repairs
- Strong working knowledge of aircraft systems and components
- Proven troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude
- Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals and technical data
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment and maintain professionalism under pressure
- High school diploma or equivalent (additional training or certifications are a plus)
